She never smoked- which is sad. But a lot of older people may have smoked when they were young before they knew how bad it was. I find it sad that people think just because you smoke/smoked you deserve lung cancer.

Her death really effected me too, and my heart breaks for their poor child. I cannot even begin to imagine what he is going through. I only hope he was blessed with his father's determination and courage and his mother's kindness and that those qualities will lead him through life.

I heard about it yesterday and it really upset me, if feel horrible about their son. I didn't even know she was sick. The only good I can see in it is that at least she's not suffering anymore and hopefully her and Chris are reunited. There never is an explaination for why, it's better not to ask.

This morning on GMA, did anyone see, they did a tribute to Dana and at the end Diane Sawyer was in tears and they had to go to a commercial break  But wow, did Dana have a beautiful voice...I never knew!

She really had a lot of talent. But when her husband had her accident she gave her career to take care of him.

I see it things somewhat along the lines that Redhead does. I think we are all here and have a mission. I feel that it's not fair what happened to her and how her son will be affected for this. I truly do believe that sometimes when bad things happen to good people either they have a lesson to learn (if they are still alive) or their passing will impact and change many others' people lives in a good way. In her case, I truly believe that.

I was and still am very sad about this. I feel horribly for their son and their family. On the radio this morning, people were taking comfort in the fact that she is with her husband again and that they are both free from their illnessness now.
