I think it's hard to judge a person from a first impression. I think they change - sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

I agree, but sometimes a first impression keeps me from wanting to know them better.

I alway's go with my gut feeling on people and normally I am right. Can people change? Depends I mean some people will alway's be who they are, but if they want to change it would be up to them. but yes people can change for either better or for worse.

In my experience, I find that my first impression is spot on.
Even in times when I have changed my impression of them for some reason, it has almost always reverted back to the initial impression.
But being someone who has been told that I myself take some "getting used to" and that I don't make a great first impression, I always keep an open mind.

some change, some dont....
MANY, MANY girls have said that before they got to know me they thought I was stuck up and conceited person bc of how i walk and dress...(i walk extremely straight and strut. Ive been doing it since I was a baby)

im open to change if a person proves them self to be different
some people have bad days, or i meet them at an off time...
id like to say that if im set on liking someone, i will make excuses for them and its hard for me to not like them....
if i start off not liking someone, i usually change my tune if they show me that i was wrong. then at that point i like them...
im weird!

For the most part my initial opinion holds strong and my opinion doesn't change, but there are exceptions. I hated one of my closest friends for like a year when I first met her.

my first impressions OFTEN change. (guess I'm judgemental)
but, once someone does something that makes me dislike or mistrust them, it takes A LOT to get me to change my mind. Vice Versa- I'm also VERY LOYAL, so once I decide that I like someone, it takes a lot to get me to change my mind.

I don't give much weight to my first impression. They have been dead on in the past. However I think everyone can have an off day so I give them the benefit of the doubt.

My opinion can change, but I find that my first impressions aren't off too often. This only counts for in person meetings. I don't think that you can always get the right impression via the internet.

hmmm I find that I often make snap judgements about people and I shouldnt.
There was a new girl at work and when I met her I made a snap judgement...and now I have gotten to know her and she is the sweetest person - so humble and caring.
