How many LIFers live out of state& where were u originally from?
I know it is Long Island Families- I guess we all have started on LI and have moved- just curiouse where everyone is located.
I am in New Port Richey , Fla -originally from Merrick.
P.s Not sure if this was a thread already- sorry if it was.

I was born and grew up in Sag Harbor.
I currently live in Rhode Island.
I would do anything to move back to Sag Harbor, but unfortunately, we cannot afford it.

I'm originally from Huntington (that's where I grew up), lived in Massapequa for approx. 5 years, moved in May to Chicago for DH's promotion. We like it here, but miss everyone on LI. We definitely have a better "quality of life" here though.

I grew up in Floral Park/Little Neck-- then moved to Merrick in 9th grade. My mom lives in Melville now and my dad lives in Manhasset.
After college I moved into the city, and lived there for 7 years-- now we live in Hoboken, NJ.
I got married on LI too.

I grew up in Massapequa Park...Dh is originally from FL but moved to Massapequa when he was in Elementary school...we got married in LI and now live in NC

Live in TX now
But lived in LI for 6 years (Wantagh and Westbury)
We are moving in Dec/Jan to NJ (?) hopefully.
DH is From LI!

Same thing for us- better quality of life.
But miss LI ALOT

I grew up in Queens, NY and now live in Dunellen, NJ. Not too far but somewhat different..we like it here. Less crowded and not as expensive!

I grew up in Bayside, lived in Bayshore and then moved to Hermosa Beach, CA in 1999. My DH (who is from NJ and I met out here) and I live in Torrance, CA now. We did get married on LI which is how I found the website.
