Def get a second opinion. You can try the Hospital for Special Surgery in the city.

I'm sorry you have to go through this. DH's aunt had back surgery last year to fuse two parts together (I'm sorry I don't know the specifics, but it was major surgery), her doctor gave her an electronic belt to wear. It sent electricity to the area for a few hours a day and she was able to recover in half the time. Maybe you can ask your doctor about that option?
She had the surgery in NS Franklin

Thanks for the love!! I am going for a second opinion but I just feel this is what is going to happen!! I keep finding new things to be sad about.
I woke up this morning and told my DH (who is treating me better now) that I am going to have a scar on my stomach. I know its vain but I always dreamt about pregnancy pictures with my bare belly. He said its fine we will have it airbrushed out, but it still doesn't feel the same!!
Once again thank you so much! This is going to be a rollercoaster ride of a lifetime!
