just why u think its easier having boys or girls as children.. i kno that we all want healthy babies but what do u think is "easier' to raise

I would have to say from what I've heard from all those that have them both...it's easier to have boys! My daughter is great..but she can be so B!tchy.

why, because they really aren't like whiney, crying, heart broken girls....

I want to say a girl is easier not just cause I am one and know how I grew up. I also see my nephews and one is SO bad that i cant take it and dont want to be around him. But that is only age 2 1/2 right now, Who knows what else is to come?
W/girls..u got to be careful. There is ALOT more to come down the road and that can get tough.
Tough question to answer there Michi! Iim stumped..I gues either one, as long as they are Healthy!

I think the only reason why I would say a girl is easier is because I am one. So I would know how to deal with one better, but it's not like JT's not a boy, so if we have a boy, I'm sure he'll help me relate if need be.

I would have to say they are both hard, in different ways. My dd is harder because she gets PMS, if that is possible-lol! AND she is ADHD so that does not help. My son is hard because he is constantly into everything, climbing and ripping things apart. My dd did not destroy things like he does.
I have to say though that my son comes to me more than my dh and my dd runs to my dh first. It is so true-Daddy's Little Girl, Mommy's Little Boy. My son wants to cuddle with me as my daughter could care less-lol!

Well being the mother of a boy, he can be quite fresh at times. But then again I see girl babies that are 10x more fresh. I guess I'll have a more educated answer when I have more babies

Yup, I agree with this statement.
My sister and I were total angels when we were little and the three older boys, well, they werent But I can guarantee that almost ALL of the gray hair in my mother's head is a direct result of my sister and I entering adolescence, etc.
I just think that you worry more with a girl...teen pregnancy, dating, etc. I know you have the same concerns with boys too but it's a different ballgame with a daughter. They tend to act impulsively and act on emotions during that difficult teenage time. I'm already stressing and she's not even two!

well of course there are exceptions
But of all my friends who have had kids (one with twins, one of each). The girls are much more of a handful right from birth...

Wel if I go by my family...girls are easier.
My mom has 2 daughters and one son. The son was last. My brother is very hard to handle. He is more picky and spoiled than me and my sister. He is more of a rebel and is always making my mom worry, not in bad ways but hes always playing sports and getting hurt, always wants to go out when my sister and I were content to stay home, etc.
In my opinion, boys are harder but everyone I know always says girls are.

I dont know but Im having a girl and Im happy about that because I know what to do to care for a girl. I dont know anything about taking care of little baby boy penis!! That was one of my biggest concerns if it was a boy!!

Thats how I feel too (though I don't know which we're having). I just feel like I know what to do with a girl, and have no clue how to make a boy a boy...

I love my daughter but knowing what a difficult relationship I have with my own mother I feel like having a son might be easier in the long run but I was dying for a daughter and I got one. We're hoping for our son the next try.
