us too! we may just break down and get an electric one someday just to tide us over until one day when we can do the real thing..
we both grew up with one as a place to put our stockings at Christmas and miss not having one most around then!!

DH bought the house with his ex so I really had no say in it....but I wish we had a master bath. We have a full bath on 4th floor (multi-level split, so half up from LR, DR & Kitchen, same floor as 2 of the 3 bedrooms - master is half flight up), and a half bath w/shower in the basement - where my office is.

many things...but #1 would be another bathroom, we only have 1.5 (the .5 is a toilet in the unfinished basement  )

A third bedroom (originally there we 3 and 2 were combined for the master bedroom).
A fireplace would have been nice too.

Many things here too, but a basement and/or garage would be VERY high on the list. But, even w/o, we're still fitting ok for now.

A family room.
I love our house- formal dining room, porch, big living room and kitchen, but no family room. Thinking of making the basement a family room. but that doesn't sound very cozy...
