Re: Dumb question about wedding RSVP

I don't think anyone would think you were "aching" to go to there wedding but rather that you are happy for them and looking forward to their wedding. As a recent bride I really appreciated all the early responses I got.

Re: Dumb question about wedding RSVP

I dont get your moms analogy? the bride DID send out her invites so she is expecting responses Now not later-

You def send them in early if you know for sure you are going, unless there is a conflict or you dont know if you will have a date yet then I can see waiting a lil bit but NOT sending it out the day its due!
as a past bride myself- I HATED THOSE PEOPLE- it messes with your planning!!!

She sent them out NOW for a reason- YOU ARE RIGHT!

Re: Dumb question about wedding RSVP

YOU are right! I do the same thing. If I don't, then it sits around and I forget about it. It's called being responsible and efficient. If everyone would just fill the damn thing out when they got it, then I wouldn't have had 50 RSVPS missing up until the week of my weddingChat Icon

Re: Dumb question about wedding RSVP

I always send it almost immediately. I think it is nicer for the bride to get it right away. Besides brides are always happy to know that you want to go to their wedding...I think it is nice.
