Any Restaurant Suggestions in GlenCove Area....

DH & I will be going to stay at the Glen Cove Mansion on July 15th for the night. (I won the overnight at the auction) The 13th is our dating anniversary (7 years). Any suggestions on something we could do during the day and a nice place for dinner?

I got married at the westbury manor and I "believe" that is nearby. There is a nice restaurant in there.

I've been wanting to go there and that is what I was thinking so I hope it is a nice day. What about a place for dinner?

We loved Marra's right in town when we lived there. But that's more of a pizza/Italian place - not really fancy for an anniversary.
Yummy chopped salad though Chat Icon

Re: Any Restaurant Suggestions in GlenCove Area....

Riva Grill. SOO AMAZING!. it is done the road from were Veranda used to be. The food is amazing, the service is great. Everything on the menu is mouth watering and the specials are even better! The even give you little things to munch on while you look at the menu like cheese and olives, and pita bread with this amazing eggplant and roasted pepper spread.
We go there has often as possible and became friendly with the owners. We even had our rehersal dinner there last September. They were so great to us and everyone of my guests are still talking about it.
Now i am going to tell my DH that we need to go!

Mask is horrible.

Riva Grill is also really good. I would go to Riva or Bussola.

Barney's in locust valley or Mill River Inn are both not to far and both very good and very romantic. Barney's is always on the top romantic restaurant lists!

Check out Tease in Roslyn or The Elephant Room also in Roslyn. For the daytime you could go to Sagamore-Teddy Roosevelts estate. I thought it was interesting but I'm a dork like that

I think you can try to call for a res but it was a long wait for a table when I went. They had great seafood and great drinks. I don't know if they have a website.
