DH LOVES this name.. I told him to get a grip if he thought he was naming my child this.
I LOOOOOOOOOVE the name Seamus!!
I could never name my kid John. I think there is just to many of them. My husband being one of them If your Irish you will find a John in EVERY family.

Tracy, Dh's name is John also and wanted that name for Ryan. I am not a fan of naming the son after the father so we didnt do it. His Irish family has many JOhns, including my FIL. That is so funny!

My kids are already done but we had arguements over his list of guidette names (Theresa, Ginamarie). Taken alone or with a more generic last name, I have no problem with them. Coupled with our last name they screamed big haired gum chewing b_tch who drives a TransAm and wears a big Italian horn.
Ackkk I'm a Gina Marie(1st and middle name-not together)......I'm not offended it was better than the 200 Jens I went to school with........
I don't lik cute/trendy names like Kaylee, Bailey, Madison(Maddy),Jayden, Brianna--I can't picture these kids being called these names at 40 yrs old. I hate Ursula.........it's the sea urchant from Little Mermaid and our friend named her daughter this.........yuck!!

There are a lot of names that I would never name my child, but the first one that comes to mind is Ari. I used to love this name, but then I dated one and can't stand it!!!!

HeeHee...my name is Gertrude and I HATE it!!! Would never subject my child to it!!!
Other than that I just hate the trendy names...but I don't know what I would name a baby if it were a girl.

Keith , Glenn, Scott, Dave any name of an ex boyfriend, and I am not too thrilled with old fashioned names- I also am not fond of the name Karen or Kathy. Sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone that has that name.

welll i cant stand trendy and or cutsie names like ( no offense to anyone) Emma, Madison, Casey, Taylor,Tiffany, Kayla, and for boys, Triston, Trevor, Dylan, Tyler, Reily, .... the list goes one..
And of course the older sounding names are out too.. Gertreude, Mildred, Stanely and i would never do Seamus just b/c i dont like it...
