Dell computers !!!! I order Dh a laptop it does not get to me until day 22, when it was stolen out of a UPS warehouse, they claim it is just 'Missing", they reorder it after many hours on the phone, it crashes 2 days later, I am on the phone for over 4 hours taking the damn thng apart and they sent a technician. He comes, and mind u he smells so bad, anyway, it crashes for him, he gets it to work. he leaves it crashes again, I call and tell them i want my money back and they tell me after day 21 I cannot get it back. They reorder me another one and it is refurbished and scratched! I call them again, mind u this is in the middle fo my MIL passing away suddendly so I am upset enough, and they r literally transferring me and Dh all over the world, no one speaks English, no one calls us back. I call my credit card company and they tell me to take pics write a letter and over night it, I do and it cost me over 100.00 to sent it back. I am now waiting for the credit on my credit card. DO NOT BUY DELL!

AMEX - purely work related, story from a co-worker. We have employees in as 'outside consultants' to help run our company travel service (booking flights hotels, etc, for company travel at discounted rates). Apparently among other things Amex does travel..
The problem isn't in the service itself but their billing. The people work in NYC, the billing leaves some central office in middle America somewhere (I think) - gets processed in INDIA - then sent to us for payment.
They are just idiots. Because now they have an extra month lag on getting paid because of the outsourcing. I wonder if the cost savings (processing in India) makes up for getting their money a month later! We should all work for such rich companies that can afford this!
And the billings are now wrong as well - and getting them fixed is another headache I won't even get into.
