Re: Weird question...and possible TMI
i flush them too. IMO, what is the difference b/t flushing a tampon and a huge wad of paper? you would think that the wad has more of a tendency to clog then a thin little tampon.

Re: Weird question...and possible TMI
I was like 14, and at a Disney resort with the family that I baby sat for. I just started using tampons so I can go to the water park, so I flushed one, and within 15 minutes, the toliet stopped and started flooding. It was horrible. Just me and the kids home, flooding the room. so i called maintence and told them, and he said it was the tampon that did it.
Another time at my uncles house, we were there for a party, and the next week I went to visit, and he said I would love to meet the owner of the 400.00 tampon. Apparently the toliet stopped that night and he had to call a plumber. Plumber said it was tampon. That was not me though.
so I just the same, would throw them out only because it is a humiliating situation that can be avoided.

Re: Weird question...and possible TMI
yeahi just wrap them and throw them out. when i was in college i lived in a REALLY old house with sketchy systems so (and i lived with 4 girls....not to mention AF came all at the same time for most of us!) and we all decided NEVER to flush them because we were afraid of what may happen....it became habit
