there is speculation that there is a guy hanging himself in the background. i forget which part, i think it is right before it gets scary in the woods. perhaps when the wicked witch throws fire. also, i heard you can play dark side of the moon to wizard of oz and it coincides. i never did it and it does not make much sense as dark side is 45 minutes long and wizard of oz is longer.

You have to play it twice - and it's AWESOME - we used to do it a lot in high school and college. It's fun!

Also, in Aladdin, at the poing where Aladdin visits Jasmine on her balcony, he's on his magic carpet and the tiger is growling at him. He's telling him to back down and says good kitty, or something like that...around there somewhere, Aladdin whispers really quickly "Good teenagers take off their clothes"

ETA: these I jsut found on a website:

The personalities of the dwarf characters in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs represent the seven stages of cocaine addiction.

in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, apparnetly there's a scene when they go in the bathroom and graffitied on the wall is "For a good time call Allyson Wonderland."

Definitely intended. The editing process is frame-by-frame. There is no way they could not notice these things.

There's no way some of these things are accidental. That website says that some are false and gives reasons why. But some are definitely intentional - like in Hunchback, there's a scene where Quasimodo is singing from the top of the tower and they pan the town and Belle is shown, and a shop keeper is airing out Aladdin's carpet - the animators have admitted to putting them in on purpose.

Re: Hidden Things In Disney Movies

The "guy hanging himself" in WoOz is a bird tetheed to a tree. You'll notcie all kinds of weird brids wlking around in those scenes..thats all it is.

I've never seen the "SEX" thing that clearly. it was explained away that is actually says "SFX", a shoutout for the sound dept.

The "boner" is the priest's knee. It doesn't look like a boner to me at all.

I have no explanation for the Aladdin thing. it's a great mystery. I have no idea what they're saying, who is saying it or why.

The old cover of TLM DOES look like a penis, and they changed it in later editions. dirty animators

There's a scene where you're supposed to see jessica rabbit's crotch exposed in WFRR, and we tried it, LOL, and, yeah you do see up her skirt, but she's a cartoon and there's no detail.

It's not Disney...but in the movie "Three Men and a Baby", there's a scene where the camera pans a living room. In it, you see a figure of a boy standing by a window. It's rumored that it's the ghost of a boy that died in the house where the movie is filmed. Spooky!

I agree - it's totally awesome...it's amazing how well it all fits. You have to start the record at a certain point - I think a certain point in the opening credits to line it up right.

It is actually a promotional cardboard cutout of Ted Dansen that was accidentally left there.

Re: Hidden Things In Disney Movies

I heard that if you time it just right, that Dark Side of the Moon goes in perfect synch with the Wizard of Oz.

I may be one of the few people that doesnt own that album/CD even though it is one of the longest selling of all time.

You have to start the CD when the MGM lion roars for the third time in the opening credits.

You;ve got to do it, it's a lot of fun!

Back in the day I had dowloaded a version from napster that was already synced up. Worked so well. Some of the coincidences are just so freaky. and NO, you don't have to be on a substance to get it!

Re: Hidden Things In Disney Movies

Years ago I was obsessed w/ these things. I had the 3 Men & A Baby Scene on tape, very freaky at first, but then when I heard about it being a cardboard cutout of Danson I looked again and that is definitely what it was. I also rewatched (like a million times) the Wizard of Oz part, when they are on the trail and singing "We're Off To See The Wizard."as soon as they move off the yellow brick road you see it in the background. You see what looks like someone climb up something and then it just swings out a few times and then stops. Definitely looks like a hanging, but who knows. Now I'll have to check out the other things mentioned!

Is it really Ted Danson? I swear...from what I remember it was a little boy. Then again, I DID watch that movie when I was seriously drunk and easy to persuade!
