I wish I had that feeling. DH had the house before we got married.
But we are looking into buying new construction. I will have the answer in a few years

Danielle doesnt want to change the locks, but I told her its a must....We will be putting Schlage Locks on all the doors

Then started cleaning, then changed the locks before we moved everything in!

Then we gotta knock a wall down
Redo the bathroom
Paint
Clean
Change the locks
Install the Alarm
Put up the screen doors
Mow the lawn lol

It is a wireless...I absolutely hate wireless doorbells

I don't even know what the doorbell of the house I am buying sounds like. Never bothered to check it. 
But the inspection report says its functional so I assume he worked it and it works.

we're closing this Friday...I dunno what to do first, and we're selling the apmt we're in now too so its all overwhelming
i feel like crying how overwhelmed i am.
dh thinks im insane that i'm not excited, is this strange? why am i not excited? hes like we're gonna be homeowners this friday...u should be ecstactic and i'm not!

my final walk thru is on thursday nite...i guess i'll see then ...if it doesnt work for now, everyone can knock lol

We bought the house with the contents. The older couple who lived there were put into a home and the family didnt want to clean it out (so we got a great deal). Anyway, the first thing we did was clean it out and clean it up. Now, a year later we are fixing it up.

You arent insane, this is the biggest purchase a person can make! There is alot of pressure as far as deadlines and lets not even get into the financial part.
I think you are reacting totally normally.
I just want to get in there and get the 1st round of bills to see how life will be month to month.

I felt the same exact way. I was getting very nervous on the house deal because I wasn't sure what I would get with the co-op.
But I had a couple of RE agents over to appraise the house over the weekend. I also had my FSBO open house.
I had everyone telling me I won't have any issues selling my co-op... and I should get a good price on it so it eased my nerves a bit.

I didn't get as many people as I hoped. I don't think Newsday gets as much traffic as it did way back when.
I think with the housing boom... everyone is now "MLS Hunting"... and are looking less at the papers though.
But I might have a senior citizen couple that made me a fair offer on it. They own a house in Bellerose that I believe they have full equity in. So if they buy my co-op... it should be a cash deal which would be nice (assuming they HELOC the house).
I am hoping they follow through with their offer. They seem like good people and supposedly are going to talk to their lawyer today and the bank is supposed to advise them on the best way to pull the money out of their house.
But I don't want to jinx it so I am still showing the house. I have more RE agents showing up today.

Our house didn't have a doorbell....so DH put one in...and yes, it's wireless
