I got a new job today!
So I haven't really been posting about my job search-- but I decided to quit my job about a month and a half ago since I was absolutely miserable and had no life.. After interviewing at a couple of companies and getting a couple of offers-- I received an offer today from a great company-- great money and I'll be doing something that I am really excited about.
I have had a rough road of really terrible jobs, layoffs in the early 2000's and just working for terrible people. I am so happy that my risk paid off-- leaving my old job without having something else lined up-- and now, I can relax for three weeks and I start my new job on my birthday, the Tuesday after Memorial Day! 
Just wanted to share--

Thanks everyone! I'll be working in New Business at an interactive ad agency-- I have always worked for ad agencies-- but this role is a little different and something I always wanted to do.
The funny thing is-- with all the $ucky jobs I have had-- I have learned something and acquired a skill to help me get this job-- everything DOES indeed happen for a reason!
