he dove in and took a bite.
no joke.
He broke skin - through 2 shirts!!!!
eta: its really uncool and I should NOT be laughing...but the kid told him "i wanted to bite off the fat part for you"

the kid broke skin? Rich should go to the dr . I cannot tolerate biting.
Does rich work at a camp?

He went to the Med center and got swabbed/disinfected. He's current on all of his shots (like a puppy  )
I made him get updated right before his insurance was cut off when he was laid off 6/30.

Day school for people with autism, ages 5-21.
Today's biter was 8 or 9.

well if it is a program for children with autism and this is day 2 and bite 2 then he really has to make sure that he gets checked out and watch the bites, broken flesh is not good

he said that you have to see all the interns...they're all beat up! They all carry bandaids and bacitracin in their bags now.

That's where I got my Masters in SE too! Is he doing his internship? I did mine in the summer at NYCLI. I worked with students with autism as well, but luckly never got bit.

Yikes!
I did preschool one summer and there was an autistic child (age 4) who used to hit the adults, and he was strong for a little kid! Good luck to Rich!

DH used to work at Maryhaven with a lot of kids with autism - he was bit once and scratched a few times also - crazy!
I hope Rich is okay!
