i don't think it was luck. he was a very strong player. yes, he lost the last immunity challenge but he was consistent throughout the game. he NEVER gave up and always pushed himself. i agree that if he would have offered danielle the hidden immunity at the previous tribal he would have secured a place in the final 2.
I agree, I think he was an amazing player, one of the best ever on the show, and he just lost his stride after losing the second-to last immunity to Aras. I don't really understand why he didn't give the immunity idol to Danielle  and agree it would have possibly gained him a spot in the final 2.
could he have given her the idol after the votes were read? if so, then he has no excuses. i can understand why he was hesitiant prior to tribal because danielle could have easily told the others and they could have all turned against terry and voted him off.
from my understanding he had to give the idol before the vote and I dont think Terry trusted Danielle enough to do it....
Ahhh! That clears it up. I thought he could still have given it to her after the vote. Now it makes sense.
