Update on my grandfather - UPDATED ON FRI AFTERNOON
My grandfather just got out of open heart surgery, and his surgeon proclaimed it a "success." They were able to fully repair the damaged valve and his numbers were steady throughout.
The surgeon said the next 48 hours are critical and said he cannot guess what the risks are so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We are all on pins and needles put hoping for the best.

ANOTHER UPDATE: AS OF A FEW HOURS AGO TODAY (FRI), MY GRANDFATHER IS OFF THE RESPIRATOR AND BREATHING ON HIS OWN. HE EVEN SPOKE A LITTLE BIT THIS MORNING AND APPEARS TO BE IN AND OUT OF CONSCIOUSNESS. STILL NOT OUT OF THE WOODS, BUT SO FAR, SO GOOD. I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN THE POWER OR PRAYER AND GOOD THOUGHT SO THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!
