If you've been here over 4 years:
3 weeks
6 sick
4 personal
plus holidays (Martin Luther King, President's Day, Columbus Day, Day after Thanksgiving are included with the other major holidays)
If you're a new hire, you get only 2 weeks vacation.
Additional vacation time is the one thing my company never negotiates during the hiring process.

We carry ours over from year to year. Once you are in the company more then 5 years, you gain 1 sick day & 1 1/2 personal days. Plus all company holidays (New Years day, President's day, Memorial day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day & day after, Christmas).
Right now, I have about 27 days that I can use.

2 days off for 4th of July, 2 days off for Thanksgiving and we shut down from 12/24-1/1 (plus Mem. & Labor day's).

my former job gave us 8 sick days, 3 personal days and I had 22 vacation days since I was there over 10 yrs.

My employer just switched to PTO.
So, I get 37 days. Plus all the basic holidays. We can also carry over each year to a certain amount (forget what it is). I've been here almost 6 years.

Sick/Personal - unlimited for salaried employees (on paper). In reality, you're not expected to take them.
And personal days are at your manager's discretion. So you can't call in and take a personal day. You have to tell them why you're taking off, and THEY decide if it was "personal" or not. (I thought "personal" meant it was a personal matter, and none of their business!)
As for taking sick days, if it's a busy time, I'd have to get hit by a bus or be in the hospital to call out sick.
