Re: nose rings.................?

I don't think they look unprofessional at all. Infact, it's part of some people's cultures. I would not think twice about someone who had a facial piercing, especially if they were dressed in a suit and PRESENTING themselves to me professionally. Trust me, there's far more unprofessional people WITHOUT nose rings!

Off the nose ring topic but still on the metal in the face topic, here's something from cragslist on how tongue studs viewed by employers:

I think nose rings can look good on some people, but I don't really like them.

I personally wouldn't do it because of work and because I don't like my nose nearly enough! But I like the little nose studs that you're talking about; if you can pull it off, go for it.

im thinking getting one today. not sure. ive had it 4 times before. i dont like hoops an i dont like big studs. i like ones that are barely even noticable.

Not for me....but if you've had it before, then why did you get rid of it and re-pierced 4 times?

Re: nose rings.................?

I like them, and wish I had gotten one when I was younger. I think now at 30 I would look ridiculous and wouldnt do it, but again, I would have when I was younger...

I love when they are tiny and then you just see a little sparkle when they catch the light.

Do it! Do it!

Re: nose rings.................?

I like them on others, if they are really small and they have the right nose for it, but not for myself.

Re: nose rings.................?

I have one, its a small stud, and you can really barely notice it. I have had it since I am 15. I dont wear it to work, only on the weekends. I cant have it in at work.

I think they are adorable. Go for it Lolita!!

Re: nose rings.................?

I LOVE them and in fact-- I had a tiny little stud for years.. I took it out a couple years ago when I was out of work and going on a lot of job interviews.. I miss it!

I had one for about a year. I totally forgot about until I saw this post. I would not do it again but for myself. If it's cultural I think that is fine and I like it, but as a fashion statement I think it is over and done with for me.

For me, I would not get one. My sister has one, a very tiny stud and it actually looks nice on her.
