A TMI gyno question....
This past year I changed to a female gyno. She's really nice, and I feel comfortable with her. Before her, I saw an old guy for about 5 years. Now, the guy always stuck his fingers up my butt testing for something, I don't remember what. The woman has never done this. Is the butt thing normal, or was he a creepy old guy?

I used to have that done years ago but my new gyno doesnt do that. I "think" that is old school and he is not a old creepy guy!!

I have gone to women and they dont, Although I went to an old man in the same office and he did it. I couldnt believe it.

Mine doesn't but I know a lot of girls who go to doctors that do. Your reproductive system lays toward the back and doctors get a better read by going that way. Uncomfortable and old school but many doctors believe in it.

I have a female - and she does it. Warns me ahead of time & is professional about it. I'm embarassed to say I've never asked about it since it's not a creepy feeling but a "bare with me while I have to do this" thing.

yes many gyno's do this--he was not a weirdo, it is more of an old school approach and theyr just checking for abnormalities, please do not be concerned

I've had gyno's in the past that have done this (all female) so I don't think its creepy at all.. a little weird and uncomfortable maybe, but not creepy..
My current OBGYN does not do this..
