Re: Cruise Question Here!
Well, you can't go wrong with a new boat. However, when I was on Carnival the staff wasn't that nice either. I guess I was used to the Disney cruise (that was my first cruise), where everyone is smiling and saying hello to you.

Re: Cruise Question Here!
I went on Carnival Destiny last July and we had a good time. The rooms were clean, service was good and the food was good also. It was a southern carribean, we left from San Juan and went to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados and Aruba. Aruba was by far the best port, we'll definitely go back for a week one day.
My MIL prefers some of the other cruise lines bc they tend to be higher class. She complained that Carnival had to many children and young people. I was never bothered by any children, they were never where we hung out.

Re: Cruise Question Here!
I would say yes, because the interior rooms tend to feel claustrophobic...remember the different levels cost different money...you may be able to get a balcony room in an area say right off one of the bars at a lower price...the rooms near the bars and restuarants, game rooms etc are lower prices because they are more nosey or get more traffic..whatever..
