ANOTHER UPDATE PAGE 1!!!!!!!IM FLIPPING OUT! SPOTTING NEED PRAYERS

i am 6 weeks 2 days and i go for my sono torrow i went to teh bathroom and i had a little and i mean little blood on my underpants and when i wiped it was a little and then NOTHING! Please girls i have needed your partayeres as much as i do now please pray this is not a third m/c. i am going to a hsow in teh city today so i cant even sit and relax at home. i need all your prayers right now!

Has this happened to anyone else and it has been ok?

UPDATE: So i called the emergency line and this dr in the practice who i havent dealt with calls back i was in teh store so my dh answers he wouldnt even spreak to dh he had to come in the store and get me. I start to tell him and he interrupts me and says " you should be home with you feet up" You should not be runnign around " I know he is right but the way he was talking to me was soo nasty anyway i had tickets to see Wicked i did see it already but this is something we have been planning since April with my two girlfreidn so i am not going. I am upset about that but i know its the best thing to do.

No spotting now for an hour and a half.


UPDATE NO.2- I didnt go to teh shpow and i did not have one single spot of blood all day long but its better off i can always see Wicked ( i had seen it last year already) but i know if i had gone and god forbid someting happened i NEVER would have forgiven myself. Thanks girls for all your posts!

are you sure it's not from your anal area, i know tmi, but did you have a bowel movement? what color was the blood?

no i dont thgink it is but its like a redish brown color and when i wiped it was like sticky Ok im soo sorry i know way TMI.. almopst like cm with a little blood in it

i had the same thing, gooey brownish red discharge, it was a high tear in the sac, but I did go to the ER to make sure, call your doc!

I had spotting at 6 weeks also and I went to the doc and we saw the h/b. I went in for another sono at 7 w 4 days and everything looked good again but then yesterday I woke up spotting a little. From what I understand spotting is very common but to be extra careful I would call the doctor.

Noel, I would call your doctor, just to be safe. At this point, no chance is worth taking. I'm sure it's just normal spotting, but it will ease your mind to call.

like the other girls have said, i am sure its just normal spotting, which is very common from what i hear/read. to be on the safe side though, I would definitely call your dr. you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I had spotting at 19 weeks, bad. I went to the ER and they found out that i had pre-eclampsia and my placent was moving and tore from the wall. Call your doctor and they will probably send you to the ER for a sono. Best of luck keep us updated.

I bled and i mean heavy period type bleeding for the first 3 months of my pregnancy...im now 7 months try not to worry ( iknow its easier said then done)

I was gong to suggest laying down. With any sign of spotting that early its the best thing to do. There are no studies to prove that you can prevent a misscarriage according to my DR but they feel it couldnt hurt give the baby help implanting better.

I knwo its dissapointting since you had plans, but if I were you I would do complete bed rest until the visit to the DR.

And I hope all the examples of bleeding spotting which resulted in nothing but a HEALTHY baby calms you a little.

yes they did calm me down i know i sound like a baby complaining i cant see the show but it was planned for so long its a little disappointing.
Also the nasty dr put me in a lousy mood.

Spotting in early pregnancy is normal. I know with your history its more alarming though. I'm sorry.

I would listen to the dr and stay home with your feet up and rest - and get in to your regular dr ASAP or go to the hospital to the ER and have them check you out.

It's not worth risking anything just for a Broadway show. ALSO, call the box office and explain to them the situation (without all the details) tell them its an emergency, etc. We had to do that for our Rent tickets and we were able to use them another time, so you wont miss out on the show.

my thoughts and prayers are with you. Im sorry the dr. was so nasty about it. I am a worry wort and call my dr. for every little question or concern. He should be used to this and more understanding. feel better!

I just wanted to tell you that I had a little bit of light spotting with my first pregnancy. Some people just do and it can be perfectly normal. But just try and take it easy anyway and hopefully you will have a sonogram soon at your drs office to see your little bean and put your mind at ease that everything is ok.
Sometimes drs are so insensitive!
