I don't know anything about this, I just wanted to say Deb that I think this would be a great job for you - you're so knowledgeable and helpful on the other boards I could only imagine how well you'd do in person

I have never heard of a Masters in Marriage Counseling. I have heard of a Masters in counseling with specialization in marriage...I did an internship at Stonybrooks Marriage Counseling Center...Definately a lot harder than one would think!!!
Few things i would look into if i were you. 1. do you have to take the GRE 2. is this an APA accredited school. If not i would pass.
Yes I have to take the GRE and yes it's an APA accredited school. Here is a little something about it:
The master’s degree prepares students to work in private practice, agencies and other settings as marriage and family therapists. Graduates of the program are expected to have a sense of professional identity, acquire requisite skills and knowledge to work with couples and families, attain licensure and become leaders in the profession.
Well then i think if you are interested in the field...GO FOR IT!

Thanks Donna! I think I might have a lot to offer to couples suffering from IF since I can have that been there done that kind of thing. I dont know though, I will have to think long and hard. Perhaps if we don't get pregnant within 6 months or 6 IUI's then this will be something that I consider moving on to. But I do want to thank you for the encouragement.
