POLL: what word do you use?
For some reason the word "pocketbook" really annoys me. What word do you use to describe the bag you carry with you?

I usually say "bag"- not a fan of "pocketbook" or "purse". Those words sound grandmotherly.

I think I say pocketbook.
But sometimes I say bag.
The only time I'll ever say purse is if I'm out at wedding and I'm carrying a tiny bag. Then it's a purse.
