Re: Old House or New?
I adore older homes. At the moment, our apartment is in an older home. An old Victorian house. It has the thick moldings, an old stone fireplace in the bedroom that goes all the way to the ceiling... I will miss it when we move.

Re: Old House or New?
I would love to buy an older home. I love the style and the charm of an old house. However, I would prefer to renovate it myself to my taste.

Re: Old House or New?
At the time my DH and I were asking ourselves the same question. We decided to look at new construction homes which I'm glad we did because everything is new and you get to customize all the rooms. In the beginning we did run into some minor problems but the house is under a full warranty therefore whenever we have a problem we call the builder and he fixes the problem, no questions asked.
