I went to florida at 25 weeks, and I wore one. It was very comfy- I was little self conscience, but I got over it when I realized how hot I was and jumped into the pool. Chat Icon

I wore one yesterday. Not my favorite thing in the world, but there was no way I was staying away from the beach. I got mine at Motherhood Maternity in Macys.

Re: Bathing Suits......

I wore one when we went to the Bahamas a few weeks ago -

I'm ALWAYS self concious about wearing a bathing suit, but I threw caution to the wind and went for it!

I got one at Target and one at Old Navy.. they were 'tankini' style and looked pretty cute (but I didn't have much of a belly to fill it out really, I was about 18 wks when we were away)

Here is the LizLange one I got from Target:

Re: Bathing Suits......

When I went to Florida - I was in my 20th week, I just barely fit into my tankini from last year - I wore that with all intentions of hitting some stores down there for another one - but it didn't look that bad - and it was only in front of my DH, FIL, MIL and BIL. And quite honestly they didn't care what I looked like.

Thanks!
Normally I would've gotten a very plain color but actually that one was a very cute on and in person...

I like that you can buy it in separates too - same with the Old Navy maternity swimsuits..

oops - meant to add I got it online, luckily the sizing worked out OK! The bra straps adjust to give you more support

Re: Bathing Suits......

I bought this one at Target- it was on sale.
I normally wear black suits- but I figured - i"m pregnant- i'm going to look totally different- why not get a different suit
it looks really cute on- not as tight as shown - more room in the top.

I bought two...the first for when I feel good about myself and the second for my 8-9 month mark...

The first is from Pea in a Pod and the second is from Motherhood.

I was just at Targey and the ones I saw were nice but they weren't the mix and match sizes. Does anyone know if any stores carry those or do they all come as sets? I'm sure eventually I'll be Large in both areas! Chat Icon

Re: Bathing Suits......

I wore one last year when preggo with Christopher. I was so self-conscious about my ever-growing tush though, that I wore shorts over the bottom. This summer, I think I'll be covering up completely unfortunately.

Re: Bathing Suits......

I wore my tankini that was a regular bathing suit and it worked just fine, just popped up sometimes in the belly area.
