Our house in progress....edited with pics from 7/9/06 on bottom of PAGE 2
Well, after almost a year in planning....architects, permits, finding contractors, etc....the remodeling has begun on our house. I can't wait til they take the roof off! We are dormering the front with a gable dormer and the back with a shed dormer to make a master suite in the upstairs area (easliy converted to 2 nice size BR's if we should sell the house). While, this certainly wasn't my dream house...we are on our way to making it "our" house. I will update this thread as the work progresses....it just started on Monday....here goes:

WOW thats a lot of paneling. What town is this in? I am sure it will look amazing when it is done....

Since DH and I are displaced because the wall in the bedroom we were in is now gone...and our new BR upstairs is not built yet....we are living in the basement on the pull-out couch. The cats...are adapting

Scott, the house we are buying has wood panels like that in the basement, the WHOLE basement.... that is going to be our big project when we move in.

The upstairs is going to be a master suite...with a bedroom, walk-in-closet, bathroom and sitting room. It can easily be turned into 2 bedrooms if we sell the house. We made 2 entrances to the bathroom (1 from each room) also.
