First of all, I have to say I really like the episode.
I saw it as Tony, in his coma, sort of deciding wether he is going to live or die...is he going to fight his way back or just give up. Especially at the end when he picked up the phone to call Carmella(who I thought sounded like her), then put it down and looked at the light out the window. I think he is at a crossroads.
I agree that A.J. is going to try to get into the family, maybe by killing Uncle Junior...knowing him, though, he'll screw it up royally.
I can't wait till next week and love the way they are leaving you on the edge.
ETA: That was a great post Elbee, and I read it after my observation, so I may have to rethink things

I agree on both counts... another funny line was the homo thing Vito mentioned..

I was listening to the show and painting at the same time, so didn't really get to watch it..I can't wait to see a repeat of the show this week..
I heard what Carmela said about the "hot down there" thing...which grossed me out also..That was so not needed in the script..what was the point??

It seems like they are pulling from some already established mob stories. The whole story w/ the Don getting shot and the family struggling to see who will be top boss was done already in the Godfather. And Junior being the old man with dementia was just played out recently in real life with the Vincent "The Chin" Gigante (sp?) Anybody remember that case? The old guy who was going to court in his bathrobe...very similar to Junior's story. I think he actually just died recently in prison.
