POll-- How many of you would be upset if

your husband didnt wear his wedding band? My coworker is sooooo upset that her DH wears his rings sometimes and his excuse is that its loose and he doesnt want to lose it

I would be mad if my DH didnt wear his. would you?

My DH never wears his (unless it's a special occasion). It doesn't bother me at all.

It would make me unhappy. Does he have a job where he can't wear it- like construction?

If it is just loose, they can have little metal balls put in it to make it tighter.

I voted very upset.. I would be hurt of he didn't since there is no excuse- he is a teacher and doesnt have a physically demanding job that would prevent him from wearing jewelry. My dad for example does not wear his since he is a welder.

DH wears his every day and never takes it off. But, if he was doing something where he was afraid of losing it, no I would not be bothered by it.

I agree!!! He is a stock broker and always going on business trips too and doesnt wear his ring!

I know a lot of guys that dont. Dh only wears his when we are out, he doesnt for work, hes afraid it will get scratched up and ya know I DIDNT even know this till I brought up how a co worker was so upset at her husband for not wearing his to work. So, since I never noticed, I guess I just dont care. It's just a ring .

It would bother me. Sometimes I do think people have legit reasons not to wear them, but if a spouse isn't accepting of those reasons I think you should wear it.

Doesn't bother me either way. He wears it sometimes, and sometimes he doesn't. I do the same.

I can't ever remember my dad wearing his ring either.

if it's loose, then he should get it fixed. If wearing the ring interferred w/his job, then I wouldn't get upset. If he chose arbitrarily not to wear it, then i would be upset.

I voted who cares. DH does wear one, but if he did not i don't think I would even notice. My father never wore one, neither did my grandfathers.

It wouldn't bother me at all if he never really wore it consistently. BUT, it would bother me if he stopped wearing it all the time for no reason.

I wouldn't have a problem with it - but then again, he never takes his off so I don't have experience with him not wanting to wear it. My father has never really worn his because of the type of work he does so I'm used to seeing a faithful married man without one.

HOWEVER - if we were traveling for work and not wearing it, that would be a MAJOR problem with me.

my husband often forgets to put on his wedding band, I dont mind (if he wanted to cheat on me, he can certainly do it with the wedding band on)

Yes, I would be upset. DH lost some weight right before the wedding and his ring was a little big on him. Instead of not wearing it, he wrapped tape around the back so it wouldn't slide off until he was able to go to the jewler to have it resized.
