There ain't no train anywhere close to where I live in Queens.  Definitely not in walking distance.

I take the Hutch to the Hen Hud. I don't even need to go over the GW Bridge. It takes longer than 25 minutes to get into downtown, but to get to the West Side it doesn't take long at all. And if I'm going to the East side I take 87 to the Third Ave Bridge to the FDR (which I hate). That takes about 30 minutes or so.
You all need to stop hating on Westchester!!! LOL!!!

Thats fine. I don't mind keeping the wife happy. I didn't like the idea of her traveling from "upstate" to Long Island to work.
The last thing I wanted was to move to Long Island. Hell.. i would have prefered toxic Jersey.
But since its for her... i'm fine with it. The wife can own me all she wants in that department.
Call me a family man. (the free cable is a plus too)

I agree with all of those except for this one... I've been living in manhattan for 8 years and maybe once I had a "snow day" because the streets were not passible. The schools are the same way! it takes a LOT of snow for New York City schools to have a snow day!
Its annoying but the world stops everywhere else except for manhattan when it snows!!!!
