I had such an awesome day (w. photos)
Patrick & I had a date day. It was a total surprise for him. He had
no clue until we got there where we were going. First came the train
trip into the city. (A boys favorite way to travel) Then we went to
see Sesame Street Live. Which he got so excited about. Then the
excitement kept going when his buddy Aidan showed up. We went for
lunch & then headed to the big Toys R' Us in Times Square. The place
is massive & Patrick was just in aww taking it all in. We had such a
great day. (Though we did miss the girls & Daddy) It was great to
spend the day just the 2 of us.

What a great day!!! He must have had a blast!! Date days are so important. Scotty and I had a "date" the other night and I asked him that when he gets older if he thought his wife would mind me taking him out on "dates"
Glad you guys had such a nice time...and Patrick is getting SO big!!!!

Good for you. It sounds like a great idea and a great date. I agree with the train getting a thumbs up. I took Luke to the Wiggles in Nov 04 and he still talks about the train ride as the highlight.
Patrick is as cute as ever.

It looks like you all had such a great time. When we were little my mom would just take us on the train to "nowhere" for the experience, so imagine taking the train and then getting to meet Elmo and go to the most gigantic toy store! What a great time it must have been!!

Aww, sounds like a perfect day! Patrick is getting so big. I am glad you got the time to enjoy the day with him. We took Andrew to see SS Live back in September and he had a blast!

Patrick is 4 1/2. I have a feeling this will be the last time he'll want to go. They grow up so fast!! The show was great. We really had fun.
