Getting my first IUI done Today!! - updated at bottom
Went to RMA again this morning.
My follies were 18 and 20. My lining was 4-5.
They said they wanted to wait for the bloodwork to decide to do the IUI today or tomorrow.
The just called with the bloodwork: E2 was 563 and Prog was .324.
So they told me to wait it out until tomorrow and we'll do the IUI.
DH goes in at 6:45 am to give his "specimin" and I go in at 9:45 tomorrow.
Can anyone tell me what to expect? Thanks.

I have had 4 of them.....IUIs are in my opinion very easy. Very similar to a GYN exam. Then they insert a very thin tube into your cervix (it feels a little wierd) and then the RE uses a syringe and swooshed the sperm up the tube! It isn't that bad at all! Tons of and

Its so easy, so no worries. Like itsa been said. The worst part is waiting from when DH "drops" off till they call you back in for you.
Uts exactly like an exam. They will show you the vial and then insert a THIN catheter into your uterus and insert the fellas....takses all of 45 seconds. And then you wait about 10 minutes laying down before you leave. The procedure itself hasnt ever hurt me, I have experienced some cramping after, but only a few times and I seemed to have been in the minority with that and ut was like AF cramps , maybe even less.
You will be surprised how easy it all turns out to be!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes!!
It was a piece of cake, just like everyone said.
Just like a pap with a little cramping when they actually inserted the sperm.
They gave me the Ovidrel after the IUI - also a piece of cake - I didn't even feel it.
DH's count was a little low (400 - they usually look for 500) so I'm a little worried about what tomorrow's may bring.
DH came with me and held my hand and entertained me while I waited the 10 minutes post IUI. 
We do it all again tomorrow.

Good luck Lauren. We also have a male factor and DH's counts were always better on the second day. I'll hope this is the same for you. Also did you mean 4 million, I know my RE always hope for 5 million (we never got there )

Well #2 is done now, so I play the 2ww game.
Bloodwork on Friday to check my progesterone and my pregnancy blood test is on 5/2.
5/2 seems like 10 years from now!!
What to do now...
Yesterday we replanted the entire outside of our house - new flowers, landscaping, etc.
And I've already spring cleaned my house to within an inch of it's life.
I'm not good at sitting still...LOL
