If anyone likes carrot soup, I just made it from the recipe in the book and it was easy, smells great and a quick taste tells me it's just as good as when I make it with cream!!
YUM!!! I have lunch for tomorrow!!
That sounds yummy!!

And I didn't add the curry powder (because I don't like it) but I did add dill.

Okay. I am going to try it one of these days and I know that I will add the curry because I love curry.

I can't believe there are so many posts on this thread!!
Honestly- from your diets-- it's not that different from what I eat every day.
Keep me posted on how you are doing-- I am going away next weekend so I can't really start til after-- but I think I will get the book this week!

You should get the book. I like this diet it is quite simple and easy to follow. After you get back from your trip you should join us.

Honey, I am in the same boat as you. I will be going away for my first anniversary so I am following this diet strictly to see if I can lose 8lbs. So far, it is going pretty well. It is not one of those insane diets.

Re: Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian?? (Celebrity Fit Club)
#1 - smoothie - low fat yogurt, skim milk, peaches
#2 - lentil soup and brown rice
#3 - cucumbers
#4 - carrot soup and brown rice
#5 fruit salad
I had company tonight and *cheated* - I had a cupcake and some wine ...
I think I am going to try to make banana frozen yogurt in my ice cream maker - but don't know how it will turn out with skim instead of whole milk and no sugar. I also made lentil soup and black bean soup last night so I have easily accessible options throughout the day.

I tasted before I put it in the freezer and I think it came out pretty good
Note to self - when freezing bananas, PEEL first!

Re: Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian?? (Celebrity Fit Club)
I know you're not supposed to weigh yourself until day 9 but I wasnt feeling motivated at all this morning, so I snuck a peak on the scale and. . . . .
I lost 4 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!
I made the vegetable soup last night and while it wasnt the best soup I've ever had, it certainly wasnt the worst. I recommend it - the vegetable broth was a nice flavor change and this was a nice way to get a ton of veggies without eating them raw or grilling them.
Meal 1 - skim milk with some whey protein powder.

I hopped the scale this morning too even though I wasn't supposed to!! I was down 6lbs from when I weighed myself at the gym on Wednesday with sneakers on at the end of the day, so who really knows.
I may make the Vegetable soup this week ... because I hear ya about a way to get the veggies. That's why I've been making the carrot soup and all sorts of *bean* soups in order to get the protein!

Re: Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian?? (Celebrity Fit Club)
Ladies, I am off the diet because I was having some problems with my stomach and I am trying to purge my system. My mom is letting me do a 3 day purge to clean my system due to my stomach problems but I will start the diet again next week. Good luck to all of you. I will hop back on soon.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!
I added lentils to the soup for added protein. I actually like lentils, but I'm not a bean person, so I need to really get more protein. I'm going to make the carrot soup tomorrow.
6 pounds is awesome!
