Re: What to expect at first RE appt? - UPDATED with APPT INFO
I am on 1500 mg right now. I started about a month ago, taking just one pill 500 a day for a week...then 2nd week, 2 pills...the third week 3 pills. I was told that , I needed to get my body adjusted and if I wasn't able to handle all 3 to stick with 2.

Lauren -
I'm so happy to hear how well your appointment went. I hope that your stay with them is short and sweet. Being monitored is going to make such a huge difference for you; as it did for me.
Sending lots of baby dust!

This is what they have me doing as well. Once I get the okay I do one pill a night with dinner. Then after a week I move to breakfast and dinner. Then breakfast, lunch and dinner.
And if I can't handle 3 go back to 2.

Re: What to expect at first RE appt? - UPDATED with APPT INFO
Congrats--sound like everything went well and you are heading in the right direction!
I have been on metformin for 6 months now.....and had some yucky side effects in the beginning. I also started low and then worked up to the 3 pills a day. I had bad nausea/diarrhea for a few weeks. Sorry TMI!! But, after that my body adjusted to it and I feel fine.
My ovaries are still classic PCOS so I am doing my first monitored month on clomid too -- I actually have another sono later today.
