Re: imagine ur single and free tomorrow...

I don't understand why you can't do these things mentioned above because you are married?
Its not like anyone said go out boozin and pick up a ton of men.
Whats wrong with going to the spa?
Honestly... I can't think of a single thing I would WANT to do now that marriage would prevent me from doing.
Of course you can....
But the way the question was asked, it was as if it were TODAY....
And if i was single and free not worried about saving for something....i would blow some money on spa treatments or an expensive pocketbook...
BUT since my DH and i are trying to not spend they way we used to...because we are saving for a house....I do not do those kind of things

Well said..
And also remember, for those who are parents... life is drastically different than for those of us who aren't parents. So for a mommy or daddy with a young child, a day of 'freedom' is just priceless!! Its going back to a time when you could come and go as you please with much less responsbility..
Great question, Mich

Re: imagine ur single and free tomorrow...
The same thing I do even though I HAVE all those thigns in my life....go to work and come home and veg. out. I have changed my ways very little since getting married and pregnant. Now, once I HAVE the baby, I'm sure that'll change. But for the most part, I try to make time for myself.

Re: imagine ur single and free tomorrow...
as long as I still have his money - I would shop and bring things home with out feeling guilt- and having to ask him if it's ok to spend my own money
actually- I would relax and do nothing b/c I spend all my free time running his errands and picking up after him

Well if there are kids involved... then yeah I can see things being different.
