I agree. Plus, if she wants to call it off but cannot because of "all the $$ invested in the wedding" that is crazy. I bet her and her FH will be divorced within the first year. If I had any doubts, whether I paid for the Dj , Hall, flowers, dress, etc., etc., etc. I would call it off!

This is going to sound really harsh but I find this show really annoying because I don't think these women have anyone to blame but themselves. I don't think you can fairly blame "losing yourself" on your husband, your fiance, or marriage in general - only yourself.

I agree- and if you expect someone to make you happy you'll be disappointed. Plenty of women manage to marry and retain their own identities.

Thanks Oprah for agreeing with such crap. She really irks me sometimes. She is also the same woman who thinks Dr. Phil is so amazing so I am beginning to wonder about her.

Oprah is loving this though - its like self validation for her - look at all these sad married woman with no identity compared to great single strong me.

I haven't seen it, but I saw a pre-view for when the show first ran a couple of months ago. And it shows Oprah saying see this is why I never got married! Now I'm nowhere near getting married. And I'm thinking wow could marriage be that bad, and I didn't even watch the show!!!
