Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
I hope this hasn't already been asked... I haven't been on in a few days!
If you were his wife, would you watch the video?

Re: Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
I don't think I'd be able to NOT watch it. I think I would want to know what he went through in his last moments.

I would need to know what his last moments were. It would almost be like a closure for me.

Same here.
We were discussing this at work and everyone else said they would not watch it. The reason was that the images would haunt them.

WOW...i am shocked
i think it would kill me more
his last moments were excruciating pain and fear
that would help you bring closure?
ETA...i for one know...at least for me since i have seen someone die in pain...
it didn't bring any closure at all
not at all..
it tore me apart

Re: Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
ok, it may sound incredibly weird, but i think if dh died "alone" and it was caught on tape... maybe by watching it it would feel kind of like i was "with" him

Re: Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
i just do not see how watching the last moments of someone life
especially one that had to been utterly shocking, painful and terrifying
i just do not see how that brings anyone any closure
just like i don't understand why anyone would want to hear the 911 tapes from 9/11 of their family members screaming in fear and terror..

I agree with this. I wouldn't want to see the tape. As long as I got to see his body and say "good-bye" that's enough closure for me.

Re: Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
I wouldn't. If I were her, I wouldn't want that to be the way I remember my husband. I don't ever need or want to see him in pain or suffering. That wouldn't be closure for me. That would haunt me.
I woudl rather remember him alive and healthy.

Re: Steve Irwin video spin-offf question...
I would probably want to see it up to the point where the stingray killed him -ask them to edit that part out - I would want to see his last moments where he was happy- doing what he loved, but I would NOT want to see the moment of his death.
