What movie scared you the most?
My vote is for JAWS...that movie definitely scared me for many years after I saw it

I couldn't get scared of that movie - I had to do a 20 page paper on it for my Evil in Christian Tradition course. Pre-internet, I had to stop & start the tape a 1000 times.
I would say the Ring - it scared the bejesus out of me.

Cape Fear. I'll never forget - we got there late and ended up in like the 4th row. Holy crap, it was the scariest thing ever!!

I guess there weren't a LOT of movies that scared the sh*t out of me - because I already knew I was scared and wouldn't watch them!! All the movies like Friday the 13th, Halloween, Shining - nope, won't watch any of those!!!
I watched the Freddy Krueger movies, but those were more comical to me.

The movies that my hands saw were The Ring, The Grudge (the Japanese version...it wasn't that good anyway), Jeepers Creepers, The Candyman, Phantasm (um, lots of nightmares that night because my dad let me watch the Blob before it!) and...Open Waters. Yeah, that didn't sit well with me!

to this day...STILL...Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street). I was walking Casey earlier and it was dark and windy and I kept thinking he would jump out from behind a tree

I was about 16 and I went to see The Fog and was scared for days after! I hate scary movies and don't usually see them and don't think I've seen a scary movie in the 20 years since...

Same here -- I never really watched horror/scary movies.
But the beginning of Murder in the First freaked me out so badly, my bf at the time took me home after 15 minutes because I was literally jumping out of my skin and I proceeded to have nightmares for 3 nights because of it.
