Because of her "irrational" behavior Jessica Simpson is blaming for broken marriage by singer Nick Lachley.
During an interview for Elle magazine he said that he already moved on and he's looking around for a new wife. Speaking about a hypothetical wife, the star said: "I'm all for 10 and under, but, of course, as you get older, that number becomes less realistic."
Also he confessed that he believes women and men are very different regarding their way to see the life and have very different thought processes. He says, "Women argue in ways that aren't rational to men."
Lachey added: "I hope that she'll at least respect my music. If she didn't like it, I could live with that."

I will probably get attacked for this, but I have to say.. as much of a "brat" Jessica may have become, I don't think Nick took to her success as well as he could have. I think he became jealous of her career and the fact that his wasn't really moving. Some men have issues with their wives being more successful than themselves, and I believe Nick to be one of them.
I'm not saying Jessica was the perfect wife by any means, but because she is in the tabloids partying and what not more than her husband, people choose to believe that's she's a "brat" and he's a down to earth guy. No one actually knows what goes on behind closed doors except them. Yes, Nick seems like a nice guy, but even on the 1st season of Newlyweds I found him to be obnoxious. Jessica might not be the smartest cookie, but her husband wasn't a prince in the way he always treated her ON camera either.
I'm sure Nick made his fair share of mistakes in the marriage.. and to say it was all Jessica I personally think is silly.
Ok, I've said my peace...lol Oh, and I LOVE Jessica...lol I honestly want to be friends with her

Oh but you forgot all about his 7 figure jewlery collection!!! he was a regular at Jacob the Jewler. Now, wouldn't some of that money better be spent at a church or charity than on his bling. Can you imagine if you were one of his congregants and look at him now. Materialistic, commenting on his daughter's breasts, ewwwwww.....

Its a shame- he got swept up in Jessica's fame.
I do think Jessica started off as a nice "country girl" but the fame when she started her show I think overwhelmed her, and since her dad/manager/overlord got just as swept up as she did (can we say Joe Jackson), she lost what I think was her spiritual rock. Now at 25 or whatever she is, she realized how little she had lived before she got married and I can totally understand how that can cause someone to be unhappy. She never lived on her own or had any responsibilities of her own (hence the - I just spent $800 on 2 pairs of underwear). I just think she ahd some growing up to do.
I don't think the crumbling of the marriage is anyone one person's fault. They both made mistakes, they both had issues. But the editing of the show Newlyweds, and her partying definitely make her look like a spoiled brat.
