I was told she would be in the 8's - She came 2 weeks early - 8lbs 6oz - So I'd say they were in the ballpark.

4 days before I delivered I was told my baby was HUGE. Over 8lbs. She came out at 6lbs

My doctor estimated the baby at 9 plus pounds, she was only 7lbs. 7 ozs.

They told me 7-14 and she was 7-12.

My doctor never told me (at least i don't remember) and I never asked because I know how off it is.
Anyway he was 7oz I guess that is average now.

Honestly, I never cared one bit what they said about size..as long as it was not VERY small. I was never afraid of birthing a large baby.

Exact date but doc said she would be over 8 pounds and she was 7 pounds 8 ounces
