I prepped at home by putting those chuks (sp?) those blue/white pads from the hospital under the sheets that a friend gave me and I have always had a mattress pad anyway. Mine broke in the hospital at about 4-5 cm on its own, and it was a gush.

i was taking a nap. it wasnt a rush like everyone tells you i didnt even know it broke it was like when you sneeze and the baby is low and you wet yourself feeling at least it was for me. the doctor told me when i went tothe hospital it broke and i put two and two together.
