Re: House offer - Question *Update*
Thanks Julie.....We just have to make a decision on what to do...If we dont buy now who knows how much the prices of houses are going to go up too. This is such a good deal for this neighborhood too. Scott

Re: House offer - Question *Update*
if the house is not move in condition and you need to add things ie appliances and change alot then its not worth it. Homeowners think because they say they put alot it that they can charge the amount they do. when we were looking some guys said we added Central air and a boiler but to be quite honest that doesnt come out to 25k. and considering these people were first owners and probably got the house for 35K in 19 something people will harp on you wanting a house and make you feel like there are so many offers out there. dont get discouraged if the house was ment to be you will know, dont break the bank becuase once you get it you will need to fill a house and change to your likeing . we are still going through this a year later. best of luck.

Re: House offer - Question *Update*
Corinne, the house has all of the appliances. The washer and dryer are old, but we will be taking ours with us. They are a little over ayear old. The refrigerator will be replaced but not yet, there is still some life left in it. My FIL has a connection so we will get the frig for cost.
Other than that, we have all the furniture that we will need for now, with the exception of a kitchen table which we are going to buy....with some chairs. Something small and inexpensive. Scott

Re: House offer - Question *Update*
IKEA has great prices for furniture. My sister just bought her kit table and chairs from them and so did our tenants - very cute stuff too.
