10 yeas ago I was planning my wedding and in grad school!!
I wanted ot be EXACTLY where I am right now, good job, 3 kids, own our own home, I just iwsh I was 104lbs like I was 10 years ago!!! I have 20 lbs to lose!

10 years ago, I was about to begin my senior year in HS. I was getting ready to apply to colleges, and planned on majoring in psychology and becoming a child psychologist. So far, I'm on track!

10 years ago, I was 15 and going into my junior year of high school. I thought I would be a teacher by now, but it was not for me! I always knew I would be married somewhat young. I honestly couldnt be happier with where my life has taken me now! I have a great husband, a great family, a great job, etc!

Ten years ago, I just started dating DH. I couldnt' stop smiling when I talked about him. I assumed I would eventually marry but was 100% sure it was him because he wasnt' what I pictured myself with & wasn't like anyone else I had ever dated.

LOL I was already with my DH 10 years ago... and back then I probably thought I would have been married a few years with 1-2 kids already! And teaching in a public school.  Man was I wrong!

Ten years ago, I was 16 & entering into my senior yr in HS. I was dating my ex-boyfriend that I was so in love with. We planned on staying together & getting married once college was over. We planned on moving to NC or somewhere in the south. Planned on having 1-2 kids by the time I hit 26
Here I am now, not with the same guy as when I was 16 (fell apart in 2001, where I met my DH), bought a home at 25 on LI & married my DH at 26. Would not change it for the world

10 years ago I was engaged to my first hubby & we were looking at houses---but I was so caught up in the wedding details & not worried so much about "after the wedding day."
I was an admin in the legal dept at ABC (& teaching hadn't even crossed my mind)

At 20 I thought when I was 30 I would have a high powered career, be married, with one child and one on the way, and live in CT.
Now I am married, but live on LI with no kids, yet. My career is good, but not high powered like I thought.

11 years ago- Aug.05 I met my dh.
I was bartending in Cancun and met him in a club.
I never ever thought I would move back to NY.
10 years ago I was recovering from a near fatal car accident that happened in Mexico and hobbling around on crutches. DH by my side through all of it.
I never thought life would be "normal" like it is now. I donot take things for granted.
I am grateful to what life has brought our way, even through the ups and downs.
Now @ 35 we are starting the next journey of our lives together- ttc, putting up a house and I am optimistic about the growth of our relationship & our lives.
Sorry to sound cheesy, but it's true.

ten years ago... I was just graduating HS and going into College...
I Def thought I was going to be a physical therapist.. married with a child already...
well, I am married, no child, and not a physical therapist. I am going back to school to change my career though..

Reality: Didn't go to college, married at 23.
Very different from what I planned, but I am happy with the outcome. Except the degree part. 
Same thing happened to me. I was 17 ten years ago and didn' think much about the furture!

10 years ago I was getting ready for my senior year in high school.
I was getting my applications ready and I was for sure going to move to DC and never come back. I was never, repeat never, going to get married. I would have my Masters in something political/government related.
Reality: went to school in Albany, moved back with my parents for five years and got married at the age of 26. I'm in the process of getting that Masters (one more year!) Oh, and yeah, I live in NJ. That one is out of left field!
But, I am in the field I thought I would be in - - - just now am I looking to switch it up a bit.

hmmm this is a tough one. Ten years ago I was 19 and dating DH...I guess I saw myself married to him, probably with kids already (none yet) and I think I pictured myself as a journalist or psychologist. I am a teacher.

Good question. Ten years ago I would have never imagine that I would get married... I just never thought it was in the stars for me. I *did* imagine that I would have a solid career at this point, which I do, but I really never would have imagined that I would be married to such a wonderful man and have a little baby girl... best thing that ever happened to me though

Ten years ago, I was about to start my last semester of college, thought I would be married with 2 kids by now.
Got the married part, just no kids yet.
I can't imagine what would have happened if I married who I was dating then, he really wasn't for me.

Ten Years ago, Wow time is just flying back. Back then I thought by 26 engaged 27 married and 28 kids and I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher.
Well engaged and married right on age but no kids and not a teacher.

Me too. I was starting my senior year in HS and I thought about nothing other than my boyfriend. I wanted to spend time with him all the time.  Didn't go to Syracuse for communications (kinda regret it) and didn't really pursue my ideal career in journalism/writing. Had no idea about kids, knew I wanted to marry DH though. Didn't think I'd ever leave the best city on earth, even though buying a house seemed impossible.
Fast forward to today. Going back to school...hope to be a writer someday. Married the guy I couldn't live without and hope to be blessed with kids soon. Live in GA in a house we own.

10 years ago I was a sophomore in college - working about 60 hours a week as a waitress to pay my tuition. I really didn't think long-term - but my plan was always to be a restaurant manager/owner.....or a chef. Who knew that 4 years later I would have the gumption to buy a house by myself - and that I'd meet DH a week after closing on my home. Also - I NEVER thought I'd ever get married. Glad I was wrong!

10 years ago i was in my softmore year of college, working hard to pay for it. i thought i would be doing restaurant management. i always saw myself married, like i am now. i NEVER thought i would be living in Australia married to an Australian. I also thought i NEVER would have wound up studying linguistics and teaching ESL. oh well, thats life.

10 years ago I had just turned 18 and was in college. I saw myself married to my ex with two children and working the fashion industry being my major was fashion merchandising.
Well, 10 years later I did not marry my ex which I am VERY happy to say and work in the Financial District for a brokerage firm. As you can see my career path was off  but I did marry a wonderful man who I am so thankful for
