i thought it was ok ... i hate those first questions about 'read the article and pick the best answer' ... there's always like 3 out of the 4 that are 'best'!!! those are the toughest for me, otherwise, everything else seemed good. i dont know if they give the same test everywhere but i like the placing of the employees and ss# and if they were fired, retired etc ... and the other block of setting appointments.

how do you think you did??

btw, didn't realize we have to go back to do the typing ... thought it was all one day! ugh!Chat Icon

See I didn't care for the employee record card section- kind of stumped me at first. The appt. one was quick & easy. I think depending on your score for the typing part-but not positive.

yea, i'm thinking thats how they weed out people for the typing ... give their scores first before booking everyone

Re: civil service test 4/22

Hi Ladies...

Looks like we all had the same test...I liked the scheduling and charting (fired/hired) questions. Ready comp was ok but what took the most time for me was the last page, spelling puntucation, etc., simply because my eyes and brain see info on paper and assume its correct...that's where i had to concentrate.

Did anyone sign up for the pre-rated seminar next week???

Re: civil service test 4/22

I was thinking about going but by the time I finished the test i had read all the questions and answers so many times that by next saturday confusion would have set in.

Do you know what the process is now?? How long until we know if we passed???

Re: civil service test 4/22

i asked the woman proctoring the exam and she said it was about an 8-10 week waiting period until we get our scores ... then it would be another 8-10 weeks (approx) til we get the date for the typing OR until the typing test - i'm not sure how she worded it. i heard it was about a 6 month process (from start to finish) before our names get put on any lists for jobs. hopefully it's not QUITE that long, but we are dealing w/ the state here!Chat Icon
