have you eaten anything different, did you use a new lipstick, or face cream or anything like that. try to think if you used anything that made you break out the first time. have your tried clariton?? my sister had a terrible terrible rash and it cleared it up. its over the counter now as well. i hope you feel better, it will clear up soon, dont worry.

it could also be coming from ur FH and any changes in his diet, detergent soap, etc., etc. ask him if hes done or eaten anything different. Hope you feel better soon

This happens to me. For me, it usually is around my eye area and looks like either eczemha or soriasis. It is puffy and gets really red and sometimes cracks and itchs. Is there anything that you have used that is out of the ordinary? Have you had your hair colored recently? Switched shampoos or makeup brands? It is always hard to figure out what sets it off because it could be the smallest thing or it could be that you have developed an allergy to a product that you currently use.
I use a product called Dermatovate that I got from a fellow sufferer. I think it is perscription. You can also use bacetracian (sp?). Unfortunately, no Dr. has ever been able to completely stop it from happening to me, but the Dermatovate seems to help speed the healing process.
I know how horrible it is!!!

Just got back from the dermatologist -
Firstly, thanks for all the sweet words!
ERod- I can't use that Vaseline - I have to stay away from things with menthol in them.
I haven't changed anything in my diet, creams, shampoos, detergent, shaving cream, hair color, ANYTHING. And neither has Rich. In fact, I didn't even SEE him yesterday.
Heidi- I've used the Dermatovate - does nothing for me! 
Since the end of October, I've tried antihistamines, antibiotics, anti-viral meds, SHOTS to the face (at the derm), numerous creams and lotions, pills, etc. Since antibiotic and anti-virus didn't work, I was NOW prescribed an anti-fungus.
WHAT GIVES?
I had 3 Doctors staring and poking at my face...and no one has any answers.
THIS BETTER BE GONE BY SATURDAY!!!!!

THank you-- nothing topical for the itching, but she gave me atarax pills (i'm 99% sure she said that they were antihistamine/antinflammatory) and the anti-fungus cream.
It is soooo itchy though! I can't wait for this antihistamine to kick in!!!!

Sadly, I have seen about 5 specialits and not one has been able to give me a definative diagnosis.

I gave that a thought too - but I've been to the dentist since it started, and other than my wisdom teeth needing to come out (on Jan 12th!), every tooth is fine.

Hey Shorty, I'm sorry the doctors can't help...I sometimes get a combo of rosacia, eczema, and hives...and while nothing really makes it go away, I put ice cold milk on it-dabbing q-tips in the milk and letting it soak into my face and it takes away the heat, and the ichiness....I thought it might work for you for some relief.
Also, once when I was in FL I got a skin rash from paba oil, and I broke out in these kinds of burns...my father immediatly took me to the beach and let me soak in salt water...went right away---so, maybe some dead sea salt on a washcloth....
I think the milk would make your skin feel better...I hope it does....

Nicole, I hope you feel better soon and this goes away once and for all. Every summer for the past 3 years, I go through something similiar with my eyes. No idea what it is and then it just goes away. It has been such a pain, I try drops, creams, etc and am still miserable. But it eventually clears up. Good luck!

honestly I bought one from LLBEAN this year so did DH and they are the warmest things ever, ther nto big and bulck y either. The best 100 bucks I ever spent and sometimes I have to unzip it b/c it gets so warm

Are you sure its not something in the Advil?
I had problems with Advil and thats why my posts say (medical reasons..sometimes).
