YEs he did it was at the house we bought together we spent our first night ever there as husband and wife our wedding night ..and he did the whole carry thing

Yep - right through the doorway of the bridal suite at the Huntington Hilton.
I totally forgot about it and he was like - "Hey - don't go in there!!", picked me up and carried me in.

that is so sweet Boobobunny! we had that too when dh and I came home from our honeymoon our apartment was all decorated I found out all of my friends and my mom decorated the apartment we had rose pedals on the bed there was a welcome home sign with everyone's name on it!a bottle of cider I am so grateful for the people who did that! i cant remember the other stuff was there but the thought was there.
Who did that? LMAO..Who went on a shopping spree @ Spencer's?? Hahahaha...
Your mom was awesome for getting us in there too
Anyway, sorry to hijack..But no DH did not carry me over the threshold..We were exhausted..we spent over an hour pulling bobbie pins out of my hair!

no, he didn't. Funny story about that though. When I was in high school and college, I used to work in room service in a hotel. I delivered to a couple one day. They had gotten married the night before. When he picked her up to carry her into the room, he banged her arm so hard into the door opening that he broke her arm! They had to go to the hospital. Needless to say, she was so not happy. When I delivered the food the husband was telling me this story while she was sitting there with her arm all wrapped up in a sling looking miserable. Whooops!!!!

Nope too tired from wedding reception , and DH had a bad back from breaking up a fight with a 2 kids in his class. ( he is a NYC teacher.) Not that it stopped him from other things.

Yes and he put up a big sign that said Welcome home Mrs. B___R. He carried me over the hotel threshold also the night of our weddings.
