In my town, yes, in my "neighborhood", no. I do not like the complex we live in or the one next to us. I think they're both shady.

Yes 100% Theres always someone walking around - such a busy area.
My block is like the neiighborhood watch committee-
In the warmer weather EVERYONE is out on thier stoops or in thier fold up chairs

I feel very very safe in my neighborhood. I live in South Amityville, and there are always police patrolling the streets day and night. Cars are not allowed to be parked on the street after 2 am. It is a very tight knit area. Everyone knows each other, and watches out for each other.

yes very safe. My town is a bit redneck & I think most people own firearms(including us). Anyone that knows this town would have to be crazy to rob an occupied house or a person on the street. Not to mention our neighborhood watch, which is mostly to let the teenagers in the neighborhood know they can't hang out in the street all night. You're more likely to get pecked to death by a wild turkey than attacked by a human in my hood.

Yes, my parents home is in a very nice area and I totally feel safe, but there are still "nuisances" around here - like smashed car windows, egging cars, etc. Kid stuff. Rich snobby kids smashing windows out the window of their parents' lexuses.

i feel very safe. i live in a village with private police/firmen etc... its very quiet town. Unlike elmont. where i would here guns shots. i used to live there by the track. i used to sit infront of my house/apt at night look around and then run in.. AHHHH the good old days HAHAHAHA

I feel safe in my neighborhood, but living in an urban area, I am always very aware of my surroundings and try to avoid walking around late by myself.
