Everyone's tastes are different, so you can't expect everyone to agree.
Well $300 is a lot for me. I almost spent $350 on a baby Louis with cherries last year, I was SO in love with it, but my LIW (this was pre LIF) helped me see the light. If I had gotten the cherries I would have hated it after 2 weeks. So I really do want opinions!
If that's the case, then why not buy a more versitile bag that you can use all-year round as opposed to one that will be stowed away in the closet after Labor Day?

Banana does have nice bags! And the prices are good! Do you know if they last a long time? One of the reasons I love the Michael kors is because I have another one, and I did everything but run it over with my car and it has stood up to the abuse

They are 1/2 the price of the Michael Koors one and look a lot a like. This way you could splurge on a fun bag and not feel guilty.

this bag is VERY similar to a Gucci bag- I found that all the Banana bags have taken "inspiration" from designers like Gucci and mulberry- I think they are a good deal

It's Michael Kors! I was considering the brown also...but since it's for jeans, I figured the blue could also work.

I was confuised, because when I posted the 2nde bag, I said "this is the original one I liked"
I'll let you know. This doesn't seem to be the disaster the cherries bag would have been. Everytime I use my baby Louis I get really thankful for my LIW for saving me $100 on the bag by not getting the cherries, and making it something I can actually still use.
but let's face it, $300 for a full size bag isn't that bad...and it's not like it has ugly cherries all over it :-P

Actually I'm both, I'm impulsive and indecisive. I almost bought it as soon as I saw it, and I decided I would buy it this week, but once I started second guessing, this can go on for weeks. haha

I like the original one much better. there are not too many buckles and hardware...it is more classic looking. I LOVE mine. Mind you, it is not huge, so it's good for your wallet and some other stuff, but not when you have loads of things. It is very comfortable! And, brown would look great with jeans! It has all different shades of brown (I'm not trying to persuade you or anything )
I hope to use it for a long time. I try not to buy bags that are too trendy, and I don't think this one is too trendy. I must admit, it is a little more trendy than I'm used to getting...but it is super worth it!

on my HM i was at the Fendi shop in Italy..
Saw the CUTEST BAGGETTE...
I loved it instantly..
Debated whether to buy it or not...
Thought how much we spent on the wedding and how we should be saving...
Didn't buy it...
Left Italy...
I decided i NEEDED TO HAVE IT..
Looked all over for the bag, desperately trying to find it on the internet...NO WHERE.
BIGGEST SHOPPING REGRET EVER...

I have to remember, I'm not in school, I don't need books anymore!
Sometimes I force myself to use my baby louis just so I can't carry a lot in it...but my keys don't even fit, and neither does my inhaler!!!
the larger bag (with the exterior pockets) is like, bigger than me (I'm teeny 5'2)...
I'm actually leaving in a few minutes to go worship the bag either at macy's or the michael kors store on the miracle mile with my friend. I think I talked her into getting this gorgeous pebble leather tote. Then again she already has a gigantic LV speedy
