we were lucky because I bought/inherited most of our stuff before I met Dh when I lived in my townhouse. My grandmother left me lots of her furniture that I love & we've used it well. I'd like to have a brand new dining set or bedroom set, but I also like having my grandma's almost antique thomasville & ethan allen stuff. I've gotta say the good furniture really lasts.
We only added our basement family room furniture when we bought the house. We bought it on a 0% card & payed it off in a couple of months.

little by little. Basically one room at a time. We have 2 rooms that are unfurnished. We'll get to it eventually. We're not in an immediate rush to get everything accomplished. We've been in the house 8 months. Little by little it's all coming along Chat Icon Chat Icon
