My housewarming party is slowly deteriating(sp)
okay it's tommorow and first off NO ONE told me it was columbus day weekend... so at the last minute everyone decided to go away with their kids.... that tooks off 16 people!!!! my friend went into labor.... which I'm exstatic about!! but thats 2 people plus her parents and her sister(my best friend) and boyfriend, so thats 6 more people, my aunt called from CT their daughters are sick so they can't coem thats 4 people out, and if it's really bad and raining tommorow my elderly grandparents probubly wont want to leave the house..... i'm yupset becuase it's raining, my MIL was supposed to come over and help em clean... and i am sin such a bad mood I told her I cleaned it all already.... it was supposed to be outside tommorow because my levitt cape is very small!!! we are going to have so much food left over!!!! we invited alot of people, didnt hear from anyone else... so if they are all coming.... it should only be about 30 people~~~ so upset!!!
everyone was complaing thatwe didnt have anyone over yet, so i sent out the invites then did so much work oaround the house trying to get it all done by the time the party came around!!! and it's just going to **** becuase no-ones coming!!!!!!! well back to cleaning!
just needed to vent!!! thanks guys!!

I'm sorry. Can you freeze some of the food and reschedule for two weeks from now? I know it s u x. People complain you don't have them over and then when you go to all of the trouble and stress planning something "it's no good for them" I wouldn't go too elaborate on the food next time. People will understand that you had to postpone due to the weather. Maybe you can ask some people to bring a casserole type dish if you decide to reschedule.

The bright side is that you probably wouldnt have gotten so much accomplished if you werent having a party. We didnt even finish unpacking until the week before Christmas because we were having company (and we moved in September!)
